This unique 27in x 23in chimpanzee art quilt ("Lewie") will draw your attention with his soulful eyes and engaging expression. I always start creating my animals with the eyes so that the personality of the animal is apparent before I choose the fabrics and colors to use for the rest of the quilt.

This quilt was constructed with high quality cotton fabric and wool batting. I zig-zag around all of the pieces with invisible thread on my sewing machine to get the unique look.
