I love big cats and this cub was just so adorable I had to make him into a quilt!

I created this colorful original lion cub art quilt ("Kimba") with high quality cotton fabric and wool batting. I always start creating my animals with the eyes so that the personality of the animal is apparent before I choose the fabrics and colors to use for the rest of the quilt. I zig-zag around all of the pieces with invisible thread to get the unique look and texture.

This wall hanging is 36 in x 26 in and has a sleeve on the back for easy hanging on a rod. This unique, one of a kind art quilt would look great in your house or office!
